Garden in memory
I’m back
to remember my childhood dream
reminiscent of the past
Garden filled with memory
In the corner
stumbling steps
giggling
of innocence
old quava stumpI’m back to memorise the good old days
mother working hard with her lesson plans
her delicate hand
holding a fan
she chewed betel nut
while listening to grandma telling story of the WesternThe garden filled with stories from many places
and inside me
piled up with naive thoughts
Life passing like a quick written verse
Dad’s shirt with strong smell
more daily wrinkles on his foreheadI’m back to feel the sun and rain
listening to grass and trees talking
listening to country soul awaken
afternoon fragrance
singing peacefully a lullaby
